Alice Pierce was born to an impoverished family in Detroit, MI that was heavily influenced by their careers in medicine, general mechanics, and the military. Common occurrences in her childhood included watching surgery on TV while eating dinner with her mum and older brother, and spending time in her father's garage or garden. In her early twenties, she had enrolled at Macomb Community College, where she was studying with aspirations of becoming a Psychiatrist who specialized in Behavioral Psychology and Substance Abuse.

However, as interesting as the study of the mind had been, it could not compare to the study of these people themselves as characters and the worlds they existed in. From a young age, Alice had been a quiet outsider who would often observe people with an inquisitive mind. What did they love? What did they think about as they carried out menial tasks? What songs were they most likely to sing along to? What made their hearts stop, or made them feel as though they could breathe more easily?

Was it not this which brought wonder to the world and made life worth living?

The experiences of living beings continue to captivate the now 30-year-old Alice throughout every day of her life. She also admires strange and evocative lighting, photography, color, and sound design.

Every interest of hers came to culminate in her forsaking a stable career in medicine for the love of art and storytelling. Embracing her more fantastical inclinations, Alice moved cross-country to Los Angeles in late 2015, and received a bachelor's degree in screenwriting and directing for film production from The Los Angeles Film School in February of 2019. She mainly focuses on genres that are infused with horror.

At present, she is back living in her hometown of Detroit with all of the various peculiarities it has to offer.
